New Surrey title launches
Archant Life has launched a free glossy title into affluent areas of Surrey.
Compass Surrey will be hand-delivered directly to 30,000 ‘premium’ homes in a triangle of towns bordered by Godalming, Farnham and Haslemere.
As well as the regular diet of property, motoring and travel content, the Archant Life title also contains a political edge, with contributors who are not afraid to take the government to task.
It has evolved from another magazine, Compass Wey, which circulated in the M3/A3 corridor to the south west of London.
Publisher Guy Hanson said: "The Compass stable of three magazines have a political edge that is unusual in regional magazine publishing.
"Our readers respond to the editorial content in great numbers and the magazine, along with its sister titles in Hampshire and Dorset, strikes a chord with the emotions, frustrations and aspirations of the demographic in the communities they serve."
In addition to the acerbic comment articles, the Compass series also carries health, beauty, food, celebrity and social coverage.
